Personally:
- Develop a regimen/routine schedule ( started back working out, more cooking and eating at home)
- Vitamin D use this as an opportunity take walks and get outdoors
- Building up our immune system (i.e. tea/eldeberry, increasing your vitamin intake)
- More reading , thinking, planning and journaling
Professionally: be strategic in your approach
(1) PREPARE YOURSELF
- Know WHAT you want to do (DO THE RESEARCH)
- attend information sessions (i.e. General Assembly free intro courses for different technolgy roles)
- peruse job seeking sites for job responsibilities and salary (LinkedIn Emerging Jobs report)
- Leverage FREE LEARNING – coursera, udemy, LinkedIn Learning, Traileheads to gain the eduation or skills
(2) POSITION YOURSELF
- intentionally attend networking events in the field
- volunteer for organizations aligned to the industry
- intentionally connect with others in the industry leverage meetup, eventbrite, user group meetings
(3) PROPEL YOURSELF into ACTION (INVEST in YOURSELF)
- Update your resume and LinkedIn
- enroll courses or programs (i.e. Emerging Programs)
